Paz is a DONA trained Birth and Postpartum Doula, serving NYC families since 2008. Paz is committed to supporting the birthing person's vision without judgment.

She believes that birth is an experience that is profound, intense, and transformative and that all mothers intuitively and instinctively know how to labor and give birth under the right conditions.

She is passionate about helping mothers to connect to that intuition, and to help create the right conditions to achieve a positive birth experience with information, respect, and support.

By providing emotional and physical support Paz hopes to empower parents-to-be to feel more in control.

Paz is trained to provide a variety of comfort measures, comfort touch, acupressure, aromatherapy for birth, active birth movements, Reiki, and is a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. Paz is a native Spanish speaker.

Paz lives in Brooklyn just a few blocks from Prospect Park where she enjoys long runs.
